The Office of International Education at VCU comprises seven units and serves the needs of international students and scholars as well as students who desire an educational experience abroad. OIE provides immigration and admissions services, English language programs, study abroad opportunities, and outreach for students and scholars. Since 2006, OIE administers the newly created 15 International Partnership Universities initiative. Currently VCU has more than 1300 international students studying here on F-1 visas. These students represent more than 110 countries from around the world. www.vcu.edu
